Dr. Michelle Julseth, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering compassionate, evidence-based medication management for individuals across Washington State. With over 14 years of experience in healthcare and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Seattle University, she brings clinical depth and a collaborative approach to every session.
Dr. Julseth provides care for a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. She also has experience working with individuals navigating perinatal mental health challenges. Her approach emphasizes shared decision-making, incorporating motivational interviewing and psychoeducation into every appointment.
While she does not offer therapy services, Dr. Julseth’s warm, practical style supports clients in developing insight and stability through thoughtful medication management. She is especially passionate about helping individuals manage mood instability and achieve recovery.
A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Julseth has precepted psychiatric nurse practitioner students and continues to train colleagues within the field. She is also a proud ally to LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and other historically marginalized populations—committed to fostering a trauma-informed, culturally attuned space where all clients feel safe, heard, and empowered.
Outside of work, Dr. Julseth enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband, close friends, and her beloved black cat, Momo.
