Dr. Cordelia R. Cochran, ARNP, LMHC

Dr. Cordelia R. Cochran is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Seattle University and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. As a PMHNP, she specializes in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric disorders through both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

Dr. Cochran takes a holistic, client-centered approach that integrates evidence-based therapies. She is fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness, enabling her to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. She also utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster mindfulness skills and support clients in taking actions that align with their values.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cochran has designed trainings for educators on trauma-informed care, communication, and mental health in educational settings. By combining her expertise in medication management, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions, Dr. Cochran tailors each treatment plan to address the whole person, promoting both mental and emotional well-being.
